SynergySure Enterprises Private Limited (“SynergySure”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Blink Solar platform, including the website blinksolar.in and the Blink Solar mobile applications (collectively, the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you access or use the Platform.

By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information depending on whether you are a Customer or an Installer/Vendor:

• Name and contact details — your full name, phone number, and email address, collected during account registration or enquiry submission.
• Location and address — your city, district, state, pin code, and residential or business address, used to match you with solar installers in your service area.
• Device identifiers — device ID, Expo push notification token, operating system, and app version, collected automatically when you use the mobile application.
• Service preferences — details about your solar installation requirements, including system size, roof type, electricity consumption, subsidy eligibility, and preferred timeline.
• Transaction and billing data — payment records, invoice details, GST information, and lead purchase history for Installers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

• Authentication and account management — to verify your identity via OTP-based phone authentication, create and maintain your account, and manage your login sessions.
• Marketplace matching — to connect Customers with verified solar Installers based on location, service preferences, and installer availability.
• Push notifications — to send Installers real-time notifications about new leads, lead updates, and platform announcements through the Expo push notification service.
• Billing and invoicing — to process lead purchase payments, generate invoices, maintain transaction records, and comply with GST regulations.
• Platform improvement — to analyse usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve the functionality of the Platform.
• Legal compliance — to comply with applicable laws, respond to legal requests, and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share your information with the following third-party service providers, strictly to the extent necessary for the functioning of the Platform:

• Supabase — cloud-hosted database and authentication infrastructure used to securely store your account data, enquiries, and transaction records.
• Twilio — used to send SMS-based one-time passwords (OTPs) for phone verification and authentication.
• Expo Push Notification Service — used to deliver real-time push notifications to Installers on the Blink Solar mobile application.
• Razorpay — payment gateway used to process all financial transactions on the Platform, including lead purchases by Installers. Razorpay may collect payment information directly in accordance with its own privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for the following periods:

• Transaction and billing records — retained for a minimum of 7 (seven) years from the date of the transaction, as required for compliance with the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act and related regulations.
• Account and profile data — retained for as long as your account is active. Upon receiving a valid deletion request, your account data will be permanently deleted within 30 (thirty) days, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.
• Device and usage data — retained for up to 12 months for analytics and troubleshooting purposes, after which it is anonymised or deleted.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

• Right to access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to correction — you may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Right to deletion — you may request the deletion of your personal data and account. We will process your request within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain information.

7. Cookies and Tracking

The Platform uses only minimal, functional cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the website and application. 8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@blinksolar.in and we will promptly delete such information.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure database access controls, and role-based access for internal personnel. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the features of the Platform. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on the Platform with a revised “Effective” date, and where practicable, by sending a notification via the mobile application or email. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Haryana, India.
